We are looking for a Senior Engineer who will develop Payments on the client-facing fintech platform. The Payments functional modules include Accounts and eWallet Ledger, Payment processing engine, Connectivity to banks and providers, Pricing and Limits, FX, and variety of payment workflows. The successful candidate will join a team of strong engineers and take end-to-end ownership of projects and tasks, from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, and production KPI monitoring.

What you'll be doing

• Develop Payments functionality including payment initiation and validation and routing, accounts management, connectivity to banks and payment providers, pricing and limits, FX, and variety of payment workflows 
• Strong technical ownership for your tasks across all stages: understanding subject domain and requirements, solution design and architecture, integrations with internal and external services, software reliability and performance, testing, rollout and maintenance
• End-to-end software life cycle contribution including CI / CD, monitoring and alerts, production support of the solution
• Strong team work and collaboration with related backends teams, front-end teams, Product and UX teams
  

What You’ll Bring To Us

• Excellent coding capability in .Net or Java/Kotlin (most of the backend modules are .Net so you will need to master .Net if your main skill is Java/Kotlin)- Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerised applications, understanding and experience with Clouds technology
  
• Deep understanding of DevOps areas – CI/CD, deployment, test automation
• Technology expert with diverse experience in backend technologies and system design: performance, databases, caching, horizontal scalability, security.
• Fluency in English.
• Hands-on experience with one of the Clouds
  

• Experience with Fintech or digital start-ups is a big plus
• Experience with AI is a big plus
