We are looking for a Lead Technical Architect — a senior technical leader who will define and drive company-wide technology architecture and engineering practices, including AI integration across the software development lifecycle.

In this role, you will combine hands-on architectural design with leadership of the Core Platform team and strategic oversight of how engineering teams build, scale, and evolve reliable, high-performing solutions.

You will also own performance, capacity, and observability strategy across all product teams, ensuring shared tooling, guidelines, and architectural approaches meet resilience and reliability goals.

What you'll be doing

• Define and evolve company-wide technology architecture, technology stack, SDLC standards, and key architectural patterns
• Oversee and govern major architectural decisions across multiple product teams
• Own performance, capacity, and observability strategy across the organization, driving unified approaches and tooling
• Lead the Core Platform team responsible for shared services, infrastructure, and developer tooling
• Drive adoption of AI in the SDLC, including tools, workflows, and effectiveness measurement
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on technical leadership to selected product streams
• Ensure architectural alignment with business objectives and domain-specific requirements

What You’ll Bring To Us

Essential requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a senior or lead engineer / architect, owning end-to-end design and delivery of complex, high-load distributed systems
• Expert-level backend development skills (preferably .NET; Java / Kotlin experience is a strong plus), with ability to perform code reviews and provide technical guidance
• Strong system design expertise, including performance optimization, capacity planning, databases and caching, high availability, and scalability (horizontal & vertical)
• Proven experience defining and governing architecture across multiple teams or products
• Solid DevOps experience: CI/CD, deployment strategies, infrastructure as code, test automation, and production reliability
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing observability solutions (metrics, logging, tracing)
• Experience using AI tooling in the SDLC (e.g. code generation, testing, CI/CD optimization)

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, crypto, or banking domains
• Deep expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with advanced observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK)
• Experience leading platform teams or building internal developer platforms
• Strong communication skills and upper-intermediate / fluent English
• Ability to influence cross-team initiatives without direct authority
