Customer engagements:
Present to all customers on presale engagement, drive presale activities
Collect customer requirements and propose system level acceleration solutions
POC/DEMO
Involved in PoC creation, be an expert in showing live DEMOs and answer customer questions
Write application and driver code in C/C++, Python
Customization/Support
Customize the existing solution based on customer needs, work with local FAEs and internal team to support the customers
Cross functional team and ecosystem partner engagements:
Work with internal development teams, sales, marketing and planning teams
Understand internal and external solutions
Collaborate with independent hardware and software ecosystem partners to jointly define differentiated solutions using FPGA technology for datacenter application acceleration
Publications
Need to write white papers and application notes to promote acceleration solutions
Travel:
30% time travel is required
Qualifications:
Network System level requirements
Must understand telco and AI network market trends
Need to have a good understanding of traditional SmartNIC/DPU-based networking virtualization technology, disaggregated Storage networking, such as NVMe over Fabric, AI cluster scale-up and scale-out networking
Need to have more than 15 years of experience in network platform/solution developments
Must have a complete understanding of various network protocols including Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, VLAN, VXLAN, related encapsulation and tunneling technologies.
Must have experience in developing routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and NFV/SDN solutions
Strong understanding of overlay and virtual networking software stacks, such as OVS and related control/data plane integration.
Need to have experience in network drivers and open source network interfaces, including: Linux kernel networking drivers and user-space networking stacks, e.g., DPDK
Comfortable in architecture discussion with system/software architects
FPGA experience is desired
