We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.</p></div><p>Verification Planning &amp; Strategy</p> <ul> <li>Develop, maintain, and update the Verification &amp; Validation (V&amp;V) plan in alignment with program goals and relevant industry standards (e.g., DO-160, DO-178/254, MIL-STD, ARP4754)</li> <li>Identify appropriate verification methods—including analysis, inspection, demonstration, and testing—and assign them to system and component requirements</li> <li>Participate in requirements reviews to ensure they are clear, testable, and traceable throughout the V&amp;V process</li> </ul> <p>Test Development &amp; Execution</p> <ul> <li>Design detailed test procedures, define test cases, and establish pass/fail criteria</li> <li>Lead or assist in testing at the component, subsystem, and system levels, covering laboratory, bench, environmental, and integration activities</li> <li>Coordinate test setup, instrumentation, and configuration with laboratory and test engineering teams</li> <li>Ensure proper configuration management of all test hardware, software, and documentation</li> </ul> <p>Data Analysis &amp; Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Examine test results, generate comprehensive test reports, and document anomalies or deviations from expected performance</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues, plan retests, and achieve verification closure</li> <li>Maintain traceability and evidence of compliance in requirements management systems (e.g., DOORS, RV&amp;S, 3DX)</li> </ul> <p>Systems &amp; Requirements Integration</p> <ul> <li>Maintain full traceability of requirements throughout the verification lifecycle</li> <li>Support technical reviews such as PDR, CDR, TRR, and qualification reviews</li> <li>Assess the impact of requirement changes on V&amp;V activities, schedule, and re-verification needs</li> <li>Contribute to process improvement initiatives, enhancing V&amp;V methodologies, tools, and workflows</li> </ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Occasional domestic and international travel (&lt;10%) to support testing, reviews, or audits</li> <li>Follow safe work practices and actively support the company’s health, safety, and environmental programs</li> <li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in verification &amp; validation, system testing, or systems engineering in a regulated or certification-focused environment</li> </ul> <p>Required Skills &amp; Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Solid understanding of requirements-based engineering and the product development lifecycle</li> <li>Experience with laboratory testing, data acquisition systems, and test execution procedures</li> <li>Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS, RV&amp;S, 3DX, or equivalent)</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, system diagrams, and test data</li> <li>Strong analytical, documentation, and technical communication skills</li> <li>Proven ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary and regulated engineering teams</li> <li>Knowledge of aerospace standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-704/-810, ARP4754A, and ARP4761</li> <li>Familiarity with aircraft electrical systems, power electronics, or electrical machines</li> <li>Exposure to model-based systems engineering (MBSE) or model-based testing approaches</li> <li>Experience supporting qualification testing, certification activities, or design assurance processes</li> <li>Familiarity with Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing environments</li> <li>US Persons required</li> </ul> <p>Soft Skills</p> <ul> <li>Effective verbal and written communication and teamwork skills</li> <li>Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines (systems, hardware, software, analysis)</li> <li>Proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and commitment to structured processes under schedule constraints</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Salary Range: $85,000-90,000</span></strong></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience</span><span data-ccp-props="{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:100,&quot;335559739&quot;:100,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
