We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <p>As Software Development Engineer you will be responsible for;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li> <p>Designing, developing, and maintaining high‑performance software in C++ and Python.</p> </li> <li> <p>Building scalable cloud‑based systems leveraging AWS, Azure, and modern CDK tooling.</p> </li> <li> <p>Developing and optimizing data‑management pipelines to support robotics and autonomy workloads.</p> </li> <li> <p>Implementing and integrating computer vision algorithms, including CUDA‑accelerated processing, sensor drivers, and hand‑eye calibration workflows.</p> </li> <li> <p>Designing and deploying MPC‑based controllers, simulation‑driven testing, and real‑time control logic.</p> </li> <li> <p>Integrating ML models into production systems, including optimization, JIT execution, and infrastructure support.</p> </li> <li> <p>Developing autonomy behaviors using state machines, behavior trees, and task‑planning frameworks.</p> </li> <li> <p>Building and supporting VR and haptic‑device interfaces, communication stacks, and motion‑capture (mocap) integrations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Developing middleware and system‑level frameworks for robotics and autonomous‑vehicle platforms.</p> </li> <li> <p>Supporting internal developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and automation using Jenkins, Python, Bash, and Linux.</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications;</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li> <p>B.S./B.A. degree in Engineering or another technical field.</p> </li> <li> <p>1–5 years of relevant experience in data engineering, cloud engineering, or analytics infrastructure.</p> </li> <li>Experience with VR, Haptic Devices or sensors</li> <li> <p>Experience with robotics or autonomous vehicles</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with AWS account administration and cloud resource management.</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000</span></strong></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience</span><span data-ccp-props="{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:100,&quot;335559739&quot;:100,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
