We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.</p></div><p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Pack Materials Technician</span></strong></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Mix, compound, and prepare polymer materials for evaluation.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Conduct physical, mechanical, and chemical tests on polymers to assess key properties such as strength, elasticity, thermal stability, and chemical resistance.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Operate lab equipment for polymer processing and&nbsp;<span class="marks6ft9ku3f" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">characterization</span>.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Record and organize test results, observations, and experimental parameters with high accuracy.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Support engineers in material development projects by preparing samples and assisting with test setup.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Ensure all activities comply with lab safety standards and proper material handling procedures.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Maintain lab organization, equipment calibration, and consumable supplies.</li> </ul> <p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent hands-on experience in Materials Science, Polymer Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology, or related field.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">5+ years of laboratory or manufacturing experience in materials preparation and testing.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Familiarity with polymer compounding, mixing, or processing methods.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Ability to conduct standard mechanical and chemical testing procedures.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Strong documentation practices and attention to detail.</li> </ul> <p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience with polymer&nbsp;<span class="marks6ft9ku3f" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">characterization</span>&nbsp;techniques (e.g., DSC, TGA, DMA, FTIR).</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Background in automotive, aerospace, or energy storage materials testing.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Knowledge of adhesives, sealants, or encapsulants used in battery pack assemblies.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Ability to troubleshoot equipment and support test method development.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Strong organizational skills to manage multiple samples and datasets in parallel.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Salary Range: $65,000-$90,000</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:100,&quot;335559739&quot;:100,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience</span> <span data-ccp-props="{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:100,&quot;335559739&quot;:100,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}">&nbsp;</span></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
