<p>We are seeking a skilled CATIA V6 Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation tools and macros to streamline CAD workflows, improve modeling efficiency, and enhance data integration within CATIA V6. This role requires close collaboration with design engineers and PLM administrators to ensure seamless CAD/PLM integration and optimal user experience.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong><br>• Develop and maintain custom CATIA V6 macros using CATScript, VBScript, or Python to automate repetitive CAD tasks. <br>• Customize and enhance the CATIA user interface and toolbars to suit specific project or team needs. <br>• Support the integration of CATIA V6 with PLM platforms such as ENOVIA for data consistency and lifecycle management. <br>• Work closely with design teams to understand workflow challenges and propose automation solutions. <br>• Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed tools and processes. <br>• Provide training and support to engineers using developed macros and tools. <br>• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated scripts, CAD modeling errors, and system integrations. </p>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong><br>• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. <br>• Proven experience with CATIA V6, particularly in Part Design, Assembly, and Drafting modules. <br>• Proficiency in scripting languages such as CATScript, VBScript, or Python. <br>• Solid understanding of parametric modeling, design automation, and knowledgeware concepts. <br>• Familiarity with PLM systems (ENOVIA experience preferred). <br>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. <br>• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</p>
