Job Overview

This position will be responsible for providing fixed route coverage for the Transportation Department. This position will also provide coverage for all specialty appointments during the fixed routes downtime. This includes all special assistance needed by all clients requiring transportation services to/from home to PACE Center facilities and specialty appointments. In addition, The Driver (DOT-CDL) is responsible for complying with all DOT regulations.

Minimum Requirements

  • A current State of California Class B driver’s license (with P endorsement for multiple passengers) and a clean driving record within the past 3-years is required.

  • Minimum two years of driving experience required and experience working with geriatric and/or frail elderly populations preferred.

  • Ability to obtain an LA DOT city permit.

  • A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

Pay for this job starts at $25.75 hourly
