TransOva Genetics is seeking a Commercial Dairy Account Specialist that will be responsible for handling high volume commercial dairy accounts and work to build and maintain positive account relationships, encourage repeat business, and represent Trans Ova Genetics to the highest possible standard. This position will act as main point of contact within assigned commercial dairy accounts and work to coordinate client requests and scheduling services by collaborating with multiple internal teams to fulfil clients’ needs.
This is a remote position based in the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build relationships with new commercial dairy accounts and sustain long-term relationships with existing commercial dairy accounts.
Encourage repeat business and ensure that clients are satisfied with Trans Ova Genetics products and services.
Maintain positive relationships with commercial dairy accounts by responding to client needs in a timely manner, regularly following up on clients, and addressing client concerns.
Address and resolve issues/complaints and queries of assigned accounts in a professional manner and report them to management as needed.
Provide a high level of client service to commercial dairy accounts and represent Trans Ova Genetics in a professional manner.
Specialize in coordinating and scheduling requested services for high volume commercial dairy accounts. Be knowledgeable of client dairy operations, goals, and contract obligations/expectations to better assist client needs.
Comfortably communicate with high profile livestock commercial operation owners/managers on a daily basis in a clear and professional manner.
Stay up to date with current and prospective commercial accounts, operations of accounts, and current procedures by visiting on site internal teams and/or clients on a quarterly basis
Utilize various internal tools and resources (OvaDrive, Fresh Straw App, Predictions app, etc.) to create specialized custom reports for clients and format information and data in a manner that is clear and fit to each individual clients’ needs. Work with IT as needed to assist in generating higher complex reports as requested/needed.
Manage commercial dairy accounts inventories, data summaries, reports etc. and provide consistent/daily accurate updates of this information for commercial clients and internal team members.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in an agriculture or business discipline is required.
Cattle industry experience required.
2+ years’ in related client service experience is required.
1+ years’ experience handling corporate level/commercial dairy accounts is required.
High proficiency with internal programs (OvaDrive, apps, MS Suite, etc.) and Excel is required.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
The position will be in a remote home office environment. Must have at home office space and quite environment.
Occasional travel may be required to assigned accounts farm locations, regional labs/centers, etc. (<10%).
Other skills/experience:
Knowledge of the bovine industry and bovine reproduction is required.
In depth knowledge of Trans Ova Genetics services is required.
High proficiency with a computer including Excel, Power Point and Word are required.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Excellent relationship management skills.
Work across multiple time zones and available to work outside normal business hours from the time zone you reside in.
Continuous accessibility beyond scheduled or normal working hours is required.
This position will primarily be Central Time based, 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Friday
Flexibility around Saturday and Holiday work is required
