ALS are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to oversee a portfolio of accounts for processing in timely manner as part of a large finance team based locally in Stafford.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team with flexible working arrangements with WFH 2 days per week.  

The day to day
Responsibilities include: 

  • Debt collection – Call clients directly to follow up on overdue payments
  • Answering incoming phone calls and managing an inbox 
  • Reconcile debtor accounts 
  • Allocate client payments 
  • Update management on account status 
  • Process credit card payments
  • Follow up on cash sale clients 
  • Release results for cash sale clients 
  • Manage client journal allocations 
     

The Essentials
Excellent communication and reconciliation skills are essential for success in this role. You will have a proven ability to work within a large team environment.

In addition, you should possess:  

  • Experience in accounts receivable, customer service or debt collection
  • A high level of computer literacy including Excel, with Pronto & Oracle experience viewed favourably.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise your workload.
  • A commitment to quality, service, and innovation.
  • Professional manner and appearance.
