A fast-moving, deeply technical product team is looking for a Front End Engineer to take ownership of core user-facing systems, starting with a production-grade observability dashboard.
This role is ideal for someone who wants real ownership—not just tickets—across architecture, UX decisions, and implementation. You’ll help shape how developers interact with complex systems through clear, fast, and thoughtful interfaces.
Own and drive large front-end initiatives from concept to production
Lead development of a core observability dashboard used by technical users
Design and implement UI systems using React (current POCs use Remix and Tailwind)
Make architectural decisions and raise the bar for front-end quality and performance
Collaborate closely with backend and systems engineers on end-to-end workflows
Continuously refine developer-facing interfaces for clarity, speed, and usability
Strong front-end engineering background, especially with React
Proven ability to tackle hard technical problems and ship large projects
Comfortable stepping into a technical leadership role in areas where the team is still ramping
High standards for code quality, UX, and performance
Excited by first-principles thinking around developer tooling and workflows
Curious, fast learner with interest in contributing beyond the front end
In-person collaboration, five days per week in NYC
