About this role

Alpega Group is looking for an Account Executive to drive market expansion in the DACH region. This role can be based in Germany (remote) or Austria (hybrid).

We’re now hiring an Account Executive —a high-impact role responsible for growing and strengthening our customer base across Europe.

  

ABOUT THE ROLE  

Join our sales team as an Account Executive for DACH and drive the market expansion in the Mid-Market space. Your success depends on establishing a dominant position with mid-sized companies, capturing the attention of potential customers, and developing opportunities that translate into new business and real-world impact. What your responsibilities look like:     

  • Take ownership of the full sales process in the DACH region to win TMS deals.  
  • Achieve sales targets by developing and executing an efficient sales strategy and plan, targeting new accounts. 
  • Foster and strengthen strategic relationships with key customers, regional influencers, and participate in regional industry events to drive sustainable growth and ensure retention. 
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Alpega TMS, both from a business and technical perspective.
  • Collaborate closely with Presales Engineers to deliver Alpega Software presentations, tailoring them to showcase the business value that is most relevant to your market.   
  • Foster and strengthen strategic relationships with key customers to drive growth and ensure retention.
  • Analyse and comprehend the business needs of our customers and convert them into potential opportunities.
  • Work closely with our Marketing and Product Teams, providing customer feedback and recommendations.
       

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU  

  • You bring a minimum of 5+ years of working experience in B2B Sales.
  • Fluency in German and English, at a native or near-native level, is mandatory.  
  • You have been consistently successful in B2B SaaS Enterprise Software sales/account management, leveraging a structured value/solution-selling methodology.   
  • Your communication skills are influential, encompassing both verbal and non-verbal aspects, as well as exceptional written abilities.
  • Confident and adept at customer engagement, you derive satisfaction from networking, pursuing leads, and fostering new and trustworthy customer relationships.   
  • Your strong, critical, and analytical thinking, coupled with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset, sets you apart.   
  • As a self-starter with excellent organisational skills, you excel in a dynamic, fast-paced, and customer-centric environment.
