Allworth Financial was also recognized as a Barron's Top 40 RIA in 2024.</p></div><p><strong>SUMMARY:</strong></p> <p>The Associate Advisor plays a critical role in supporting Financial Advisors and the broader planning team by delivering high-quality financial planning, client service, and analytical support. This role is designed for an early-career advisor who is building technical expertise, client-facing skills, and a strong understanding of Allworth Financial’s planning philosophy and business model, with a long-term path toward becoming a Lead Advisor.</p> <p>This is a full-time, exempt role based in our Walnut Creek office, offering a fully onsite, collaborative work environment with an in-office presence required five days per week. The position includes a base salary range of&nbsp;<strong data-start="369" data-end="388">$75,000–$90,000</strong>, with eligibility for an annual bonus based on individual performance and company results.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support Financial Advisors in the preparation, development, and implementation of comprehensive financial plans for clients</li> <li>Participate in client meetings by shadowing and, over time, actively contributing to discussions and follow-ups</li> <li>Conduct financial analysis, research, and casework related to investments, retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, and risk management</li> <li>Prepare client-facing materials, meeting summaries, and plan updates</li> <li>Assist with ongoing client communication and service requests in a timely, professional manner</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams (planning, operations, investment management, and client service) to deliver a seamless client experience</li> <li>Gain exposure to Allworth Financial’s full business model through cross-functional learning and shadowing opportunities</li> <li>Attend firm-sponsored meetings, workshops, and training sessions</li> <li>Actively pursue professional development, including progress toward CFP® certification</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field</li> <li>Progress toward or strong interest in obtaining the CFP® designation</li> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment</li> <li>Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and desire to grow as a financial advisor</li> <li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team</li> <li>Proficiency or ability to quickly learn financial planning software and internal systems</li> </ul> <p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer</li> <li>Ability to attend in-person meetings and events as required</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>BENEFITS</strong></p> <p>We value our associates’ time and effort.
