What we’re looking for:
Based in Taiwan, The Professional Services Engineer has a crucial role to the success of the company. He/she will work closely with Allot’s partners, customers, peers, Product Management, Pre-sales, solution architecture and R&D to deliver Allot solutions to CSP in the region on time with quality.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for deploying Allot’s products at our customers
- Responsible for execution of proof of concepts, trials and demos
- Deliver on-site technical training to partners and customers
- Perform installations and upgrades, as well as Interoperability Testing (IoT)
- Create technical documents including ATP (Acceptance Test Plan) and MOPs (Method of Procedure)
- Stage systems offered to customers in the lab to verify the required functionality
- Serve as technical leader in front of customers and partners
Requirements
What you should have:
- At least 5+ years relevant hands-on experience for Tier 1 communication service provider
- Solid technical telecommunications knowledge for mobile packet core network (3G/4G/5G), fixed network and cable networks
- Proven hands-on network knowledge and experience for TCP/IP networks, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, packet sniffing/capture and traffic generation
- Cyber Security knowledge and hands on for network security & end point security – experience with Tier 1 CSP cyber security deployment will be a great advantage
- Linux system administration & operation knowledge and solid hands-on experience with script skills
- Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, OpenStack and KVM)
- DPI knowledge with hands-on experience – an advantage
- Data analytics skills and hands-on for different databases and Business Intelligence
- System integration experience (such as Diameter, Radius and DCHP etc)
- Excellent communication skills
- Service oriented
- Self-learner - different kinds of training will be provided as well
Travel:
Mainly support customers in Taiwan (other customers in APAC region as well) and some travel in APAC region may be required
