A top-tier hospital in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Care to lead its state-of-the-art PICU. The role involves managing critically ill pediatric patients with complex medical and surgical conditions, using advanced life-saving interventions and a multidisciplinary approach.
🧠Key Responsibilities
• Deliver expert care to high-acuity pediatric patients in the PICU
• Perform advanced procedures: mechanical ventilation, ECMO, invasive monitoring
• Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Design individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to clinical education programs
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and uphold international care standards
• Participate in clinical research and stay current with PICU advancements
📋 Qualifications & Experience
• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Board certification in Pediatric Intensive Care / Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
• Western training (USA, UK, Canada, or equivalent) is mandatory
• Minimum 3–5 years post-board experience in a consultant PICU role
• Proven expertise in advanced pediatric critical care techniques
• Strong leadership, communication, and family-centered care philosophy
• Eligible for DHA Consultant licensure (Dubai Health Authority)
