Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation – Abu Dhabi

As a Consultant in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds, providing them with the necessary treatment and rehabilitation for a variety of physical injuries, disabilities, and chronic conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create personalized treatment plans for each patient, utilizing the latest technology and techniques in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with physical impairments, injuries, and disabilities.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients to improve their physical functioning and quality of life.

• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including exercise, manual therapy, and assistive devices, to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists, to provide holistic care for patients.

• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies and techniques to promote long-term health and wellness.

• Monitor and document patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution and board certification in physical medicine & rehabilitation.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation center setting.

• Knowledge of the latest developments and best practices in the field of physical medicine & rehabilitation.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in English; Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
