Position Overview:

As a Consultant Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to our patients, specifically children and adolescents, who are suffering from blood disorders and cancers. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat a variety of hematologic and oncologic conditions. In addition, you will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to our patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and treat a wide range of hematologic and oncologic disorders in pediatric patients

- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs

- Utilize advanced medical knowledge and technology to provide the best care possible

- Coordinate with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care

- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary

- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families

- Stay updated on current research and advancements in pediatric hematology and oncology

- Participate in departmental meetings and educational programs

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Qualifications:

- Medical degree and specialty training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology

- Licensed to practice in the UAE

- Must hold UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of relevant medical technology and practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and diverse environment
