Job Description:
Position Overview:
- Plan and perform arc and acetylene welding, brazing, soldering, silver soldering, and cutting on a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
- Fabricate various parts or tools from blueprints or design and make from a verbal description or rough sketch.
- Maintain a stock of welding supplies and requisition when needed.
- Assist in the installation and repair of equipment and systems as required.
- Maintain a current state issued welding certificate.
- Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment.
- Perform all other duties assigned by Management according to the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Skilled Trades Supplement.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Applicants must have a journeyman card or have eight (8) years of documented experience in this trade.
