Job Description

As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Driver in Saint Charles, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence within a dynamic tech and media location. This role requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will engage with people on-site, provide exceptional customer service, and support a culture built on teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $18.05 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or escorting visitors as required.
  • Support emergency response activities according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to address questions or provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
