Job Description

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Unarmed Patrol in Saint Charles, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, support a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business environment and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points within the location.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
