As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol your assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a sense of security, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual activity according to company and site procedures.
• Support access control procedures by verifying credentials of personnel and visitors as required by site policies.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site leadership regarding incidents, concerns, and daily activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
