Job Description

As a Security Officer - Hospital Rounds Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and observe for unusual activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures and Allied Universal standards.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management, providing guidance and information as needed within the healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management to address ongoing security-related needs and support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
