As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including evacuation procedures and/or medical emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
• Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and support the healthcare location's operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Vaccines required for work in a hospital environment.
• Must be able to work in areas including the hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment as required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
