Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrols in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
  • Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general information while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare personnel and local authorities as needed during incidents, emergencies, or drills.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal protocols and client site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
