Your presence and exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This driving post requires you to have a valid driver's license as you support the security-related needs of the facility while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the location by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any suspicious activity.
• Document and communicate incidents, observations, and/or concerns to the appropriate personnel and Allied Universal management as required.
• Support staff and visitors by providing information and assistance related to security-related matters within the healthcare location.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines for handling confidential information and interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
