Job Description

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Tech Campus in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading Tech, Media, and Telecom location, you will welcome guests, manage access control, and assist with badge procedures. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Communicate security-related concerns and escalate issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports.
• Follow all Allied Universal procedures and site-specific protocols for handling emergencies and/or unusual situations.
• Support the overall security-related operations of the location by helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
• Provide customer service to all individuals entering the premises, addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
