As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential apartment community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist residents and guests with a customer service mindset, communicate clearly, and document observations using site technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential apartment community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying property management and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, amenities, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and common areas, verifying credentials when required, addressing resident and guest questions, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations per site guidelines.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, maintain accurate shift logs, and communicate key information to oncoming personnel and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 6+ months of security experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
