As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within logistics and distribution locations.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit, ensuring only authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles are permitted on the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for logistics and distribution environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any irregularities or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of access control activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site-specific policies.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with employees, visitors, and vendors to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related needs and support overall operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
