As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will document activity, coordinate with site personnel and/or first responders as needed, and deliver a welcoming customer service experience. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, platforms, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, identifying unusual conditions and reporting concerns per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
- Control access for employees, visitors, and vendors by checking identification, monitoring entry points, and directing traffic flow to help support orderly operations.
- Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate updates via radio and/or phone, and handle issued equipment and firearms in accordance with training, laws, and company policy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
- Have 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
- Have Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years.
- Be 21+ Years of Age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
