This armed position involves conducting routine patrols and responding to situations as needed, while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and customers in a courteous manner while addressing security-related concerns or incidents.
• Complete reports and documentation for incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to address incidents or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
