As a Security Officer - Armed Shopping Patrol in Universal City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This role involves carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Follow all company protocols and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
