Your role involves conducting routine patrols, supporting a secure environment, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or patients to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as required during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required for this client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
