Role Overview: 

In this position, you will play a key role in the non-financial reporting process for Allianz Group, focusing on supporting the environmental reporting data collection for Allianz Own Operations. You will coordinate the reporting tool (Microsoft Sustainability Manager) processes, including data analysis and processing, preparation of reporting cycles, and reporting & IT audit procedures.

The Reporting Analyst will support with ensuring compliance with the risk management framework of the Allianz Group reporting process and will work closely with the central sustainability functions. 

 

What you do:

  • Undertake the maintenance of the reporting tool to ensure accurate and timely data collection, processing, and reporting
  • Prepare and update of reporting cycle documentation and checks
  • Coordinate the testing of tool functionalities and calculations design
  • Support data collection, aggregation, and analysis as well as review of data correctness and completeness during reporting cycles
  • Align with internal stakeholders on improvements for data visualization reports and other data management-related topics
  • Identify reporting issues, errors, or inconsistencies
  • Support Allianz entities with data upload and validation processes
  • Prepare and monitor the data collection process to ensure accurate reporting and transparency, including support in case of tool blocking points (e.g. issues or bugs)
  • Support internal and external audits related to the reporting tool
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, both internally and externally

 

What you bring:

  • Strong data processing skills: Microsoft Excel, VBA, Power Query, PowerBI.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills with high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to set priorities and work within tight deadlines.
  • Good level of self-organization and proactivity, with a strong ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude, even in stressful situations.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-centric working style.
  • Cross-cultural experience, with the ability to operate within a global team environment and work within global virtual teams.
  • Strong coordination and communication abilities.
  • We highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team.  

 

You have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Business Analytics or any other related field
  • At least 3-5 years of financial/non-financial reporting or a similar field
  • Experience in preparing analytical reports and database management
  • Proficiency in data management and reporting tools (e.g., MSM, SQL, Excel, PowerBI)
  • Knowledge of environmental topics is not a prerequisite, but certainly beneficial
  • Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English
