About the Job

As a Senior iOS App Developer for Allianz Health Insurance in Germany, you will be a pivotal member of the Tribe "Digitale Kunden und Vertriebe" within the Customer & Sales IT chapter at Allianz Technology. Your role will focus on developing innovative solutions for the "Health App" team, driving digital transformation in customer and sales processes. Your expertise in iOS development will be crucial in creating seamless and user-friendly applications that enhance customer engagement and streamline sales operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the evolving needs of Allianz Life's customers in Germany.

What you do

• Develop Innovative Solutions: Utilize your knowledge in programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Groovy, and Shell to contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications.
• Implement Advanced Architectures: Implement Clean Architecture, MVVM, REST-API, Test-Driven Development, and Behaviour Driven Development Testing in projects.
• Utilize Frameworks and Tools: Work with frameworks like UIKit, SwiftUI, Security, AVFoundation, OpenCV, OAuth2, SQlite, XCTest, Quick + Nimble, and Lottie. Use tools like Xcode, Git, Jenkins, Fastlane, SonarQube, and Apple TestFlight effectively.
• Apply Agile Methodologies: Apply Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Confluence, Jira, Github Pull-Requests/Reviews, and Figma for design.
• Ensure Compliance and Security: Implement encryption techniques and ensure data protection compliance.
• Manage App Store Submissions: Manage App Store submissions and collaborate with external partners for successful deployment.

What you bring

• Deep Agile Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of Agile principles and proficiency in various Agile tools and methods.
• Extensive iOS Development Experience: At least 5 years of active experience in Agile practices, transformation, change management, or consultancy, with a strong focus on iOS development.
• Advanced Technical Skills: Experience with app architecture up to at least iOS 16, with familiarity in iOS 26. Experience with encryption techniques and data protection.
• Effective Communication and Collaboration: Ability to translate complex technical requirements into streamlined processes, particularly in insurance applications. Proven experience with App Store submissions and external collaborations.
• Flexibility and Proficiency: Willingness and ability to travel to Germany as required. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
