About the Job:

As a Cloud Data Engineer specializing in building cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC) at Allianz Technology, you will leverage your strong expertise in cloud technologies and data warehousing to design, automate, and operate secure, scalable data platforms in an agile environment.

What You Do:

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, and develop CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Engineer data solutions using SQL and PL/SQL, and manage data warehouse/lakehouse services like Snowflake.
• Utilize AWS cloud services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, and Glue to build and manage data platforms.
• Collaborate in agile teams with Scrum proficiency, maintaining a strong product mindset and high degree of initiative.

What You Bring:

• Proficiency in Infrastructure & CI/CD tools: Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Strong data engineering skills with SQL and PL/SQL, and experience with data warehouse/lakehouse services like Snowflake.
• Expertise in AWS cloud services: S3, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue.
• Agile methodologies: Scrum proficiency, product mindset, high degree of initiative.
• Programming languages: Python, Golang, and SQL deployment tools like Flyway.
• Experience in data transformations & orchestration using dbt and AWS Glue.
• Knowledge of stream processing with Apache Flink and streaming fundamentals with Apache Kafka.
