About this role

Who you'll Work With:

Bernstein Private Wealth Management (“Bernstein”), a subsidiary of AllianceBernstein L.P. (AB), provides
advanced planning strategies and a wide array of investment management services to high and ultra-high-net-worth families, endowments, foundations, and institutions to help them reach specific financial objectives. Bernstein is distinguished among major wealth managers by its singular focus on wealth management and the resulting alignment of interests and accountability this brings to each client relationship. Bernstein’s integrated approach to wealth management, including investments, planning, and family engagement, allows the firm to tailor each client’s portfolio. This approach minimizes the effects of tax and volatility with investment strategies that draw on AB’s deep research expertise across asset classes and geographies.

What You'll Do:

We are looking for a strategist with a data-first approach to growing and engaging audiences across all marketing department efforts. The role is two-fold, creating insights for both the marketing team and advisor leadership. The hybrid role will analyze program performance using data-driven marketing, extract relevant insights and report findings and recommendations to leadership through text and data visualizations. Developing insights on our direct-to-consumer outputs (i.e. podcasts, social media, centralized campaigns, blogs, etc.) will allow the marketing team to pivot and make data-driven decisions. Developing insights on contact engagement and advisor-driven activities (i.e. dashboard and scoring formats) will allow the advisor teams to make informed decisions to further their business development. This individual will also help develop key measurement strategies and governance to ensure consistency in reporting and analysis across digital touch points.

Communication skills are key. As the Marketing Insights & Analytics lead, you’ll be translating raw data and technical terms into insights and strategy recommendations that will help inform business decisions. Being able to explain the technical aspects in “plain language” is critical to making a persuasive presentation. This key role will work closely with the creative, content, social and events teams to continuously improve the thinking, strategy, recommended programs and tactics of the marketing department.

The role will be based in either NY or Nashville and will be reporting to the Head of Private Wealth Digital Marketing & Operations.

  • Being a storyteller—communicating messages derived from data to inspire better decisions.

  • Presenting insights to marketing, advisor and business leadership

  • Translating raw data and technical terms into insights and strategy recommendations

  • Partnering with digital and PR agencies to determine most relevant data required for analysis

  • Partnering with internal data, Salesforce and marketing teams to obtain data for analysis and ensure the most valuable data is collected from the get-go

  • Adobe Analytics Marketing Product Owner

  • Determining the impact of marketing efforts and campaigns and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of existing programs and success of recently completed campaigns

  • Recommending changes in tactics or spending to improve results

  • Designing and executing tests to isolate causes

  • Identifying groups and subgroups of customers and prospects through segmentation

What We're Looking For:

  • 8+ years’ relevant experience

  • Familiarity with data-driven marketing ecosystems, best practices and trends

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive impact by thoughtfully tackling open-ended problems and clearly communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience

  • Ability to transform data into a digestible and presentable story based on the audience and confidence and expertise in communicating effectively with a wide range of audiences

  • Experience manipulating large data sets, interpreting data trends and unifying a multitude of disparate data sources and tools into actionable recommendations

  • Experience with developing analytical frameworks and metrics to measure ongoing business performance and understand key performance drivers

  • Ability to analyze and present how outside factors such as channel behaviors, audiences, cultural trends and competitive landscape can impact ideas and projects

  • Experience with multi-channel campaigns, social media and e-mail marketing platforms and Salesforce

  • Advanced Excel skills including pivots, VLOOKUP’s, and the ability to build complex formulas

  • Experience in marketing, social media analytics, social listening, and website analytics, as well as SEO, dashboard building and reporting templates

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics, SQL, Python, BI reporting, Tableau, and databases

  • Financial services experience a plus
