About this role

Job Description:

Wingtips Lounge is a passenger lounge inside an airport environment that offers an upscale, VIP guest experience allowing passengers to escape the hectic chaos of the airport. Wingtips offers a variety of complementary amenities to allow our guests to work, relax, or unwind prior to boarding their flight. The Lounge Agent will be responsible for welcoming guests into Wingtips Lounge and provide friendly, professional, and exceptional customer service upon guests checking into the lounge.

                                               

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting guests, anticipating their needs, and providing excellent customer service
  • Respond to guest requests for assistance for information on Airport/Airline operations.
  • Greet guests, explain the lounge concept and accurately check guests in on system and collect payment when necessary
  • Provide friendly and professional service to guests, communicating with them by name whenever possible.
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with appropriate garnishment for guests at our main bar and throughout the lounge.
  • Interact with guests, take customer orders, prepare drinks as requested.
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar and lounge.
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age.
  • Offer amenities to guests as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and professional appearance
  • Cook, prepare and replenish food as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
  • Oversee and assist with the appearance of food displays. Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
  • Assist in serving food to customers.
  • Prep food for the next shift by replenishing supplies and restocking food.
  • Manage multiple guest tabs and correctly manage guest payment in a point-of-sale system
  • Close-out paperwork at the end of each shift including reconciling data
  • Perform closing duties for bar and kitchen: dishes cleaned, proper wipe down of facility, etc.
  • Stock and replenish lounge items as needed
  • Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner
  • Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures
  • Attend training programs (classroom and virtual), safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments as required.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one-year related customer experiences working in a high-end hotel, restaurant, private club, or lounge environment.
  • Knowledge of POS, credit card/electronic payment register and follows all cash-handling procedures as required.
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, extended hours.
  • Always maintains a clean and professional appearance.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift, or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain airport security clearance. Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Alliance Ground International operates twenty-four hours a day seven days a week in three operational shifts, AGI requires its employees to be able to work flexible schedules which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays, cancellations, or additional flight activities. Applicants must be able to work on weekends, (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and/or holidays as required.
