Small Animal Associate Veterinarian | Homestead Veterinary Hospital | Villa Ridge, MO

Homestead Veterinary Hospital (HVH) is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join our predominantly equine, multi-doctor practice in Villa Ridge, Missouri.

We’re looking for a passionate, team-oriented veterinarian with strong communication skills and a desire to deliver exceptional client care. A special interest in sports medicine and lameness is highly desired, but all qualified applicants will be considered.

About Us:

HVH is a 6-doctor practice serving a diverse caseload of 70% equine, 25% small animal, and 5% small ruminant patients. Our practice supports all disciplines of equine sports - from backyard companions to elite sport horses.

While primarily ambulatory, our 10,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art hospital features:

  • Four stalls (including two mare/foal stalls and isolation)
  • Indoor stocks
  • On-site RVTs providing 24-hour care as needed

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Current DEA license or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Active veterinary state license
  • Experienced veterinarian or a new graduate welcome to apply!
