The Opportunity

Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trade Compliance Analyst to join our global logistics and compliance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the fundamentals of import and export regulations that govern a global technology company. You will support the team in ensuring that our products and technology move seamlessly and compliantly across international borders. The ideal candidate is a curious, analytical, and organized individual who is eager to learn and grow with us.

What You Will Do

  • Assist with the classification of products according to global customs and export control regulations (e.g., HTS, ECCN).

  • Support the preparation, review, and retention of import and export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Help maintain our trade compliance records and databases in accordance with strict regulatory requirements.

  • Perform routine screenings of customers and transactions against government-restricted party lists.

  • Assist with basic research on trade regulations to support the team and answer inquiries from internal business partners.

  • Support the trade compliance team in internal reviews and audits of our processes and procedures.

  • Collaborate with various internal departments, including logistics, sales, engineering, and finance, on trade-related matters.

Who You Are

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • You have exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and are comfortable working in a team environment.

  • You are highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

  • You possess a strong desire to learn, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • While not required, prior internship or co-op experience in logistics, supply chain, or trade compliance is a significant plus.
