Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team and provide high-quality respiratory care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic tests (e.g., pulmonary function, arterial blood gas, sleep studies)
- Administer and monitor respiratory therapies (oxygen, mechanical ventilation, inhalation)
- Educate patients and families on disease management and equipment use
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Stay current with advances in respiratory therapy
Qualifications
- CRT or RRT credential
- Experience in critical care or emergency settings
- ACLS and PALS certifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Valid state license and at least 1 year of experience
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Bilingual abilities preferred
