Are you a customer-focused automotive technician with strong communication skills? We are looking for a Dialogue Technician to perform initial vehicle inspections, identify technical concerns, and communicate findings clearly to customers and service advisors. This role bridges technical expertise and customer interaction, ensuring transparency, quality, and value-added service from vehicle reception to repair completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial inspections of vehicles received in accordance with the approved test plan.
• Prepare detailed damage reports for each vehicle as per DDB damage reporting standards.
• Identify damaged or non-functioning items based on original vehicle settings and test plans.
• Highlight potential up-selling opportunities identified during vehicle inspections.
• Perform test drives with customers, when required, to identify noises or technical issues.
• Conduct post-repair test drives with customers to confirm repair effectiveness, when necessary.
• Communicate all findings, technical issues, and recommendations clearly to the Service Advisor.
• Attend off-premises breakdowns, when required, to assist in vehicle mobilization.
• Support the workshop team as required to ensure smooth workflow.
• Create and maintain all required system logs and reports in line with brand standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements:
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Automotive Technology or a related technical field.
• Certification: Brand Silver Technician certification (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Skills & Abilities: Fluency in English and Arabic is essential. Strong customer communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings clearly. Computer literate with experience in maintaining inspection and service records. High attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.
