ABOUT THE ROLE

The Event Demand Generation Contractor will lead demand-generation activities to drive registrations and attendance for key third‑party events, and will support the Events Demand Generation Lead in executing marketing tactics for first‑party events. The contractor will coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of content and campaigns, manage event editorial planning, and oversee post-event follow-up and reporting.

- Drive registration campaigns for third‑party events:
- Write and refine marketing copy for registration pages, email invites, landing pages, ads, and social posts.
- Coordinate review cycles and approvals with stakeholders to ensure timely deployment.
- Execute platform-level tasks (campaign setup, audience targeting, asset uploads) as required.
- Support first‑party event demand generation:
- Assist the Events Demand Generation Lead with campaign execution and tactical initiatives to boost registrations and attendance.
- Manage the event editorial calendar:
- Maintain a centralized calendar of upcoming events, campaign milestones, content deadlines, and approvals.
- Communicate timelines and responsibilities to relevant teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.
- Oversee post‑event follow-up and lead handoff:
- Track follow-up status, update lead records, and escalate gaps or blockers to the Events Demand Generation Lead or appropriate teams.
- Reporting and dashboards:
- Maintain registration and attendance dashboards that surface key audience demographics, attendance trends, conversion metrics, and campaign performance.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders to inform future event strategy and optimization.
- Cross-functional collaboration:
- Work closely with content, field marketing, creative, sales development, product teams, and external agencies to align messaging and activation plans.

- Minimum 3 years in event marketing or demand generation.
- Hands-on experience supporting both first‑party and third‑party events.
- Demonstrated ability to write and edit marketing copy for registration pages, email invites, landing pages, ads, and social posts.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional reviews and approvals.
- Experience maintaining editorial/content calendars and managing deadlines across teams.
- CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) for managing attendee records, lead flows, and handoffs.
- Basic data analysis skills and experience turning event metrics into actionable recommendations.

- Experience with paid social and programmatic channels for event promotion. Familiarity with event technology platforms (e.g., Splash)
- Event demand generation experience at large, complex organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field is common; equivalent experience acceptable.
