Alera Group is looking for a Employee Benefits Consultant/Team Lead. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead client relationship strategy for high-value employee benefits accounts, guiding renewals, plan design, implementation, and compliance while serving as the primary client advisor across market trends and regulatory requirements
Manage and mentor a high-performing team, allocating resources, driving service excellence, and supporting regional client needs, including up to 50% travel within the West Texas market
Drive strategic growth and operational excellence by expanding the book of business, collaborating with leadership on business development, and overseeing proposals, analytics, compliance, and team training initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with 5+ years of employee benefits or insurance experience and at least 2 years in a leadership role
Active Life and Health insurance license required
Professional certifications such as CEBS, GBA, or PHR preferred

This job is expected to be performed on-site in the office.
