Global FP&A Manager

As a Global FP&A Manager, reporting to the Global FP&A team, you will be responsible for short and long-term financial planning and/or financial analysis of business operations for the purpose of measuring and forecasting future business performance. This includes: Analysis of internal financial information, analysis of external economic conditions and their impact on business operations & financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities.

In this role, a typical day will include:

High Management Support

• Presentations preparation
• Build presentations for Alcon’s CFO, Board of Directors and Executive Committee
• Ad-hoc analysis
• Create additional data views to explain Alcon’s projections
• Data sharing & collection
• Connect with key stakeholders to request and provide forecasting data

Global Financial Planning Cycles

• Planning cycles coordination
• Ensure finance associates have timely visibility of global planning expectations and deadlines
• Forecasted financials analysis
• Analyze planned financials and raise issues in a timely manner
• Forecasting progress tracking
• Carry out follow-ups with key stakeholders to ensure global planning requirements are submitted in a timely, accurate and correct manner

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Higher Education Degree in Finance, Accounting, Administration, Economics,  Engineering or related.
• Advanced English proficiency, verbal and written (required)
• +5 years of professional experience in financial planning and analysis roles
• Effective communication skills for alignment with stakeholders and presenting to multinational audiences
• Data analytics and/or programming skills to process large quantities of numerical data
• Ability to condense complex information to quickly deliver several iterations of ad-hoc requests
• Organization skills to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met in a timely manner
