AWH Dental Program is looking for Level 2 Oral Health Therapists. The Oral Health Therapist is a highly valued member of the AWH Dental Service, undertaking assessments and treatments of priority clients within our Public Dental Service and our School Dental Program (Smile Squad). We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity:
- Provision of dental care within the scope of practice under the Dental Board of Australia for Oral Health Therapists/Dental Therapists
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with AWH and Oral Health Victoria (OHV) clinical standards and evidence-based practice
- Experience in providing Oral Health Therapy care for clients from priority and vulnerable populations
- Ability to provide clinical care within both fixed clinic and outreach environments
- High level of written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- AHPRA registration and Radiation license
- Scope to provide treatment to all age groups is highly desirable

Established on 1 July 2009 it is the first cross border public health service to exist in Australia, and operates under an agreement between New South Wales and Victorian governments to provide the largest regional health care services between Sydney and Melbourne.
