Intensive Mobile Youth Outreach Service(IMYOS),  Mental Health. full time and part time permanent positions available (Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology)

The Intensive Mobile Youth Outreach (IMYOS) clinician will be a valued member of the Child and Adolescent mental health team to undertake a deliver of safe, trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, recovery oriented care and support to young people aged 12-25. The IMYOS clinician will provide, in collaboration with young people and families/carers and other service providers, mental health assessments, formulation, care coordination, individual recovery planning and evidence-based interventions as well as primary and secondary consultations to key stakeholders.  We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.

 

  1. Current and unencumbered registration with AHPRA for Nursing, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist or eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Work
  2. Demonstrated ability, and experience in, working with and engaging young people and families/carers with complex presentations.
  3. A minimum of 2 years community mental health experience, preferably in work with youth
  4. Knowledge of recovery models and trauma informed practice

Mental Health Services at Albury Wodonga Health

AWH is an Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, providing mental health treatment, care and support, including delivering Alcohol and Other Drugs services. We deliver 10 specialised community-based programs, along with three acute care services and three facilities dedicated to recovery and rehabilitation. We also provide services supporting families coping with parental mental illness and facilitating connections to carer consultants.
Our Mental Health and Wellbeing teams comprise mental health clinicians with a background in nursing, occupational therapy, social work, and psychology, all of whom have experience in helping people through a range of therapies. The diversity of our service provides a range of experiences for our team and will assist you in expanding and embedding your clinical practice skills.
