Role Purpose

Responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant transportation of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and cold chain items between the central store, clinics, and pharmacies across Dubai, in line with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate light-duty vehicles to transport medical and pharmaceutical items, including cold chain products, between the central store, clinics, and pharmacies.
• Ensure the delivery van is used exclusively for medical and pharmaceutical deliveries in compliance with DHA and MOH regulations.
• Plan routes and trips efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries across Dubai.
• Oversee loading and unloading activities, ensuring accuracy of items and obtaining proof of delivery for each trip.
• Perform pre-trip inspections, checking tire pressure, lights, fuel, and immediate safety hazards.
• Report any vehicle damage, incidents, or traffic violations immediately to the Store In-Charge.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including trip sheets, delivery orders, fuel logs, incident reports, and receipts.
• Monitor fuel consumption and trip records in line with company guidelines.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and hygienic, both internally and externally, at all times.
• Comply fully with RTA regulations, warehouse safety protocols, internal SOPs, and company policies.
• Maintain a damage-free and incident-free driving record, reporting any incidents or near-misses immediately.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and effective coordination with warehouse, clinic, and pharmacy teams.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Mandatory: Prior experience in medical or healthcare deliveries in Dubai (pharmaceuticals, clinics, hospitals, or medical logistics).
• Valid UAE light vehicle driving license and a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Experience handling temperature-sensitive (cold chain) items is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage delivery documentation accurately and consistently.
• Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Minimum high school (Matriculation) or equivalent education.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to following processes and SOPs.
• Demonstrated sense of responsibility, accountability, and commitment to operational excellence.
