Job Purpose

  • Achieve annual volume, revenue, and contribution margin (CM) targets line-wise for the assigned area/territory
  • Execute sales plans in alignment with targets agreed with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage distributors and retailers on a regular basis within the assigned territory
  • Achieve monthly debtor targets and reduce overdue receivables as agreed with the RSM
  • Develop and implement recovery plans and strategies to minimize cheque bouncing
  • Ensure monthly signing of customer/dealer statements of accounts
  • Build and strengthen relationships with dealers and customers to meet business targets
  • Resolve market issues amicably under the supervision of the RSM
  • Communicate approved discounts and promotional schemes clearly to customers
  • Ensure timely communication of company-led and foreign schemes to all customers
  • Install POS machines and distribute POS materials as agreed with the RSM
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, company values, and HSE policies

Experience

  • 3–5 years of relevant sales experience
  • Experience in distributor and dealer management
  • Exposure to credit control, debtor management, and recoveries

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable institute
