Job Purpose

Assist with performing all production related duties including setting up the machine, making splices, reading and understanding job orders, specifications, and the inventory system.

Key Accountabilities

•    Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping (including no-work areas).
•    Assist with setting up the machine.
•    Make splices.
•    Use ERP system (Syteline) to record and make the proper transactions to consume materials.
•    Read and understand specifications and information listed on Job Operating Listing Report.
•    Identify acceptable and unacceptable quality via web inspection.
•    Assist in reducing waste.
•    Assist in improving machine efficiencies.
•    Handle raw materials in a way such that they are not damaged.
•    Disassemble and clean all support equipment (pumps, hoses, filter housings, etc.).
•    Assist on both the prime equipment machines as needed.
•    Show the ability to communicate (verbal, written and listening).
•    Check storage cabinets on your assigned machine and re-stock storage cabinets as needed.
•    Show willingness to perform any other duties that are assigned.
•    Attend Monthly safety training sessions.
•    Maintain a safe work area including following all safety practices on a daily basis (able to complete daily safety checklist).
•    Adhere to all company policies and follow company procedures.
•    Ability to read and interpret written information
•    Work in a team environment

Job Requirements

•    High School Diploma or GED.
•    Previous manufacturing experience
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred
•    Forklift experience
•    Microsoft office experience
