Systems Intelligence is looking for a Citrix System Administrator to work in Port Hueneme, CA. This position will perform CITRIX System Administration duties at a DoD facility. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Management, maintenance, and sustainment of the CITRIX environment, CITRIX products and CITRIX hosted applications for a DoD customer.
- Administers, develops, runs tests, implements, and maintains operating system and related software.
- Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
- Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems.
- Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and performs data recoveries. Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts. Provides technical support for system users.
- Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
- May act as lead.
Qualifications
- Experience in the management, maintenance, and sustainment of the CITRIX environment, CITRIX products and CITRIX hosted applications.
- Experience including managing successful large scale, multi-discipline, technology or service-oriented projects involving CITRIX
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS, Windows Server 2016 (2019/2022) and Infrastructure (AD, CIFS, DNS and GPO).
- Specialized Experience:
- CITRIX/XenApp Presentation Server Technology, Citrix Secure Gateway, Desktop Delivery Control, Citrix Resource manager and database, Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Microsoft OS Certification, JAVA/JDK/J2EE.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification (or government approved IT Security Certification e.g. CISSP).
- BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution.
- Required to be U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to maintain Secret clearance eligibility.
